Early this morning I said goodbye to my roomate Sara. Though I was half a sleep, I still felt very sad saying goodbye. She was my very first friend, and my campanion throughout this entire experiance. I'll miss her and I hope to see her again. Later in the day, I said goodbye to my cousin and my friends Cadia and Robert, who were leaving for a weekend trip. Again, I hate saying goodbyes. Luckily, I didn't cry. I spent the rest of the afternoon doing last minute packing and getting ready for tonight. Both my Matts and I went to a pub and watched the Barcelona vs Manchester United game. Afterwards we went to another pub called Dubliners and spent the rest of the night there. We drank and acted silly taking pictures the entire night. As the night came to an end, it was time to say goodbye to both Matts. Just when I thought I could get through my goodbyes without a single tear, I finally broke down. It was so tough saying goodbye to them, harder than expected. They're two absolutely wonderful guys, who I know, I'll see again in life. I miss you both.

DAY 139 FRIDAY MAY 27, 2011: RIDING IN THE RAIN
The pictures speak for themselves. Riding bikes in the pouring rain, was the best idea we've ever had.
DAY 138 THURSDAY MAY 26, 2011: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Believe it or not, it wasn't always fun and games here, I actually had school from 8:30am to 5:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Today was my last day of school. I felt relief more than anything, and finals were finally over. It was sad saying goodbye to my awesome (and sometimes crazy) teachers.Tonight, would also be my last entercambio. And so the goodbyes began. After entercambio, we went to O'Neils as usual and had a few drinks. Then, we headed to a night club called Joy. This too, is one of the few clubs I still needed to visit.
Universidad Antonio De Nebrija
DAY 137 WEDNESDAY MAY 25, 2011: FAMILY VISIT
I have a cousin who's also studying in Spain this semester, in Santiago De Compostela, and is coming to visit me for the weekend! We spent the entire day sight seeing and souvenir shopping.
DAY 135 MONDAY MAY 23, 2011: PROTEST
For those of you who watch the news, might know that there's a HUGE protest going on throughout all of Spain. Reasons behind the protest? I believe, its because the people don't want any of the candidates to win the election. Even after the election was over, the people stayed outside waiting in Puerta Del Sol, the city center of Madrid.
DAY 133 SATURDAY MAY 21, 2011: KAPITAL
Tonight, were going to Kapital!!!! Kapital is a 7 story night club with kareoke, plenty of lounges, an awesome opened roof top, and acrobat performers. It took me 133 days to finally be here while every other Americans been here within the first 2 weeks. I cant believe what I've been missing out on. This place is the BOMB! We arrived around 1:30am and left at 6:00am (closing time). My friends and I were hungry and decided to grab a bite to eat at any place thats open. I didnt get home till 7:30am. Maybe this wasnt my brightest idea, since I wanted to wake up early to go to Rastro the next morning. Oh well, it was worth it.
DAY 132 FRIDAY MAY 20, 2011: BOTELLON
Botellon, is the act of drinking alcohol in public. It's almost everyones final weekend left in Madrid so we want to go out with a bang! We ended up buying a bunch of liquor and finding any spot to plant ourselves before the police, or in my terms "The fuzz" would kick us out. After they did, we'd just go find another place to hangout. After a while we decided to head to a bar where we could dance as well.
