They say Las Vegas is the city that never sleeps, but Madrid must make the top of the list. It’s 4am and the streets are nothing but crowded. Packed with thousands of people smoking or moving on over to the next club. I love how alive this city is, and I look forward to it every weekend. We usually start off by “pregaming” at a bar around midnight, have a few drinks, and then move on to the night club. Entrance fees usually include a free drink at most clubs. Last night we started the second leg of the night in “Comma” but they closed at 3, so we left, and headed our way to “Blackjack” the nightclub we were at last weekend too. I noticed that in Spain the night clubs only play English music. I’m not completely surprised, but I want to go to Spanish nightclubs and listen to salsa and Merengue! Sure, I can’t dance to save my life, but I enjoy the music and watching people dance. I’ll find one eventually. Now, let’s rewind to early Saturday morning. We visited 3 small towns today, Aranjuez, Chincon, and Alacala. We saw the Palacio Real in Aranjuez, ate lunch in Chinchon, and visited a university and saw a cathedral in Alacala. The excursion was enjoyable but it definitely lasted longer than it should have.
