How werid is it that I had to keep reminding myself that its OKAY to speak English here? I hate looking like a tourist in Madrid, so sometimes, I would try to avoid speaking English as much as possible. Well, lets be honest, I speak it way more than I ever actually intended too. It was refreshing hearing English everywhere. I was absolutely smitten with London, the moment I stepped out of the metro station. My hostel was in the Hammersmith area, and it’s so cute there! It looks like downtown Elmhurst! I came the week before the Royal Wedding, so you can only imagine how much preparations was in the works. They are everywhere! Looks, like it IS a big deal here. During my time in here, I saw Big Ben, The London Eye, the London Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and Westminster abbey. I even saw Chicago on Broadway, I absolutely loved it! I had this obsession with the Piccadilly Circus area. Though I’ve never been to Time Square, It’s kind of the way I imagine it being like, but smaller. So many people, Broadway plays, shops, restaurants, lights! It was amazing!
